I remember the strength coach for the Houston Oilers (yes I'm that old) liked to say that the human body is like a Ferrari. You wouldn't put bad gas in a Ferrari, would you? Nutrition is the FUEL for our bodies. I'll share what foods speed and which slow the healing process and what particular "diet" worked for my concussion recovery.
Stress kills! Losing cognitive ability is stressful for, not only the person suffering from it, but their friends and family as well. Here I'll share the different ways I used to deal with stress including a few apps that help you stay on track to your concussion recovery.

While driving home from the clinic one night, back in 2021, I pulled up to the stop light and, next thing I knew, I was looking up at a paramedic in the back of an ambulance. I had had a seizure. Better yet, I had broken my 12th vertebrae during that seizure. The meds the doctors gave me made me less than pleasant to be around to say the least. That's when I decided to research holistic ways to speed recovery after a concussion.
